Namilia and Playboy Revive the Wild Aughts with a Rebel Collection

Namilia is back at it—this time, shaking hands with the ultimate symbol of rebellion and seduction: Playboy. Fresh off the high of its viral Spring/Summer 2025 Ed Hardy collab, the Berlin-based brand is diving headfirst into the aughts, draping itself in bedazzled velour, pierced tanks, and handbags that somehow double as skirts.

With a clientele that reads like a rogue’s gallery of pop culture’s fiercest icons—Julia Fox, Cardi B, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton, Arca—Namilia understands the it-girl energy better than most. And what better brand to tap into that world than Playboy, the cultural institution that practically wrote the book on sex appeal?

“It’s always been a dream to work with Playboy—it’s just perfect for our brand identity,” says Namilia’s creative director, Nan Li. “I felt like a teenager designing my dream wardrobe for my celebrity fans. Playboy is such an iconic world, and bringing it into today while elevating it was really special.”

A year in the making, the Fall/Winter 2025 collection is dripping in nostalgia with a razor-sharp modern edge. Think pierced spaghetti-strap tanks, sultry silk robes, and enough rhinestones to make the early 2000s blush. The collection blends Playboy’s signature rebellious femininity with Namilia’s rave-fueled aesthetic, delivering barely-there bikinis, custom charms, and leather bags that morph into mini skirts, pants, and jackets—all adorned with Playboy zippers and keys.

But this isn’t just another rehash of the bunny logo slapped on some tees—Namilia wanted to push the envelope, turning signature Playboy elements into full-fledged runway pieces with a side of social commentary. “This collection doesn’t just reference traditional female archetypes—it dismantles them, challenging outdated notions of power dressing, professionalism, and allure,” says Li. “Namilia has a strong social and political identity, and we always incorporate that in a contemporary way.”

The Namilia x Playboy collection is now available on the brand’s website, so if you’re looking to channel your inner early-2000s icon—with a 2025 twist—now’s your chance.
