Lila Moss Takes London Fashion Week by Storm—And Frees the Nipple While She’s At It

Like mother, like daughter—only this time, with fewer layers.

Lila Moss, the 22-year-old heir to Kate Moss’ effortless cool, turned heads and raised temperatures at London Fashion Week, stepping out in a sheer, mauve-colored blouse with nothing underneath. No bra. No pasties. Just pure, unfiltered confidence.

The barely-there look made its debut at a dinner party for British brand Aaron Esh on Feb. 23, paired with black leather trousers and strappy stiletto heels—a mix of edgy rebellion and high-fashion nonchalance that screamed, Yeah, I know exactly what I’m doing.

Booked, Busy, and Keeping It in the Family

Lila’s been on a tear through London Fashion Week, proving she’s not just riding on her mother’s name. Two nights before the free-the-nipple moment, she was spotted alongside Kate Moss herself at a Donna Karan New York event, celebrating Kate’s Spring 2025 campaign.

The mother-daughter duo went full black-on-black elegance, Lila in a strapless cocktail dress, Kate in a satin number with a plunging neckline—because once a supermodel, always a supermodel.

And then came the runway.

On Feb. 24, Lila hit Burberry’s Winter 2025 show in an oversized floral jacket, knee-length skirt, and leather boots—a far cry from the barely-there blouse, but a reminder that she can pull off just about anything.

Kate’s Take: Lila’s Got Her Head on Straight

So, how does the original Moss feel about her daughter strutting the same catwalks she once ruled? Surprisingly, she’s all for it—and she swears Lila’s got a much better grip on the industry than she ever did.

“Lila is so much more grown-up than I was in my 20s,” Kate told British Vogue. “She understands she can say no, for one thing, which I never did.”

Translation? The younger Moss is playing the game on her own terms.

And when it comes to fashion? Lila’s not shy about raiding her mom’s closet—except for one painful reality.

“I can’t steal her shoes, which is devastating,” she told Vogue. “She’s a size 6 and I’m a size 5, and it’s one of my biggest regrets.”

Forget the shoes, Lila. You’ve already got the style, the name, and the attitude—and that’s more than enough to own any runway, sheer top or not.
