Kanye West Laughs Off Grammys Ejection Rumors, Fires Back at Don Lemon

The circus came to town Sunday night, and Kanye West was front and center, playing ringmaster to a media frenzy that’s still spinning. The 47-year-old rap mogul and his wife, the ever-provocative Bianca Censori, lit up the Grammys red carpet with a stunt that had the pearl-clutchers in overdrive—Bianca dropping her fur coat to reveal a sheer, next-to-nothing dress, leaving absolutely zero to the imagination.

And just like that, the whispers began. Were they booted from the event? Did the Grammys’ gatekeepers take issue with Bianca’s barely-there ensemble? Had Kanye, yet again, out-Kanyed himself?

Ye wasn’t having it. In a furious social media tirade, he torched former CNN anchor Don Lemon, whom he accused of spreading the now-debunked rumor that he and Bianca had been forcibly removed. “This the goofball that started the rumour that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies,” he posted, alongside a now-deleted image of Lemon. “Three decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this.”

For those keeping score at home, here’s what really went down: As Censori made her now-infamous reveal, Ye—clad in his signature all-black armor—leaned in with a cryptic command. “You’re making a scene now,” he muttered, to which Bianca nodded. Then, like a man orchestrating performance art in real-time, he revised his direction: “Make a scene. I’ll say it’ll make so much sense. Drop it behind you and then turn.”

Cue the flashbulbs. Cue the internet losing its collective mind.

Not long after their headline-making entrance, the couple was spotted ducking into a waiting car and vanishing into the Los Angeles night, setting off speculation that the Grammys had given them the boot. Entertainment Tonight fanned the flames with a now-deleted post claiming the couple had been “escorted out” after arriving uninvited.

Lemon, eager to clear his name, fired back with an Instagram video. “First of all, Kanye, Ye—whatever your name is—I did not start a rumour about you being kicked out of the Grammys,” he fumed. “I actually corrected it. Someone on your team asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere. So first of all, get your shit straight. And you, of all people, calling me a c**n? That ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”

Shots fired.

Meanwhile, Ye, never one to let a moment go to waste, followed up with a low-res, almost surreal snapshot of himself—grinning wildly, dark sunglasses firmly in place, tongue out like a kid who just got away with something. He also flooded X (formerly Twitter) with Polaroids of himself and Censori—who, true to form, remained gloriously unclothed.

Love him, hate him, or fear him, Kanye West remains the ultimate puppet master of controversy, pulling strings while the world scrambles to keep up. And this latest Grammys stunt? Just another day in the life of Yeezus.
