Josh Allen Drops MVP Speech, Gives Fiancée Hailee Steinfeld the Ultimate Shoutout

Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills’ golden boy and now the 2025 NFL MVP, didn’t waste a second before celebrating the win the right way—planting a kiss on his fiancée, Hollywood starlet Hailee Steinfeld, right in front of the cameras. The power couple, both 28, made their official red carpet debut at the NFL Honors before Allen snagged the league’s top prize.

As he took the stage at New Orleans’ historic Saenger Theater, Allen rattled off the expected thank-yous—God, teammates, coaches, family. Then, he turned his attention to the woman by his side.

“And last but not least, my fiancée, Hailee,” he said, locking in his moment. “You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend, and I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you. So, with that being said, be good, do good, God bless, and Go Bills.”

The camera cut to Steinfeld, tears threatening to spill over as she clapped, her signature smile just barely containing the emotion of it all. A Hollywood ending, NFL edition.

The MVP speech wasn’t the only highlight. Allen and Steinfeld’s night doubled as their big red carpet coming-out party. Allen, looking sharp in a classic black suit, stood next to Steinfeld, who stunned in a strapless column dress, diamond necklace glittering like a Super Bowl ring. And, of course, her engagement ring—front and center.

The couple took the next step back in November 2024 during the Bills’ bye week, with Allen pulling off a proposal that had him more rattled than a fourth-quarter blitz.

“I was very nervous. I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” he admitted in Steinfeld’s Beau Society newsletter. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then, multiple times throughout the day, a song would come on and I’d tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”

Romantic? Absolutely. Cheesy? Maybe a little. But it worked.

“I said, ‘I couldn’t wait any longer.’ I said, ‘I can’t wait to start a family with you,’” Allen recalled. “I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said please.”

The two have been together since 2023, making their Instagram debut the following year. And while Allen’s MVP win is a career-defining moment, Steinfeld has been his number-one fan, win or lose. Even after the Bills’ heartbreaking AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs—who are now gearing up for Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles—Steinfeld had nothing but praise for her man.

“To say the least, I am so proud of that man and everything he’s done and everything that team has done together,” she told E! News on January 28. “He is the hardest working person I know.”

With an MVP trophy in hand and a Hollywood queen on his arm, Josh Allen’s life isn’t looking too bad—Super Bowl or not.
