Ice Spice & Chappell Roan Flash a Little More Than Fashion at Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week—the holy land for high-end excess, where designers unveil their latest madness and celebrities squeeze into gowns tighter than a banker’s grip on his last dollar. But sometimes, fabric fails, and when it does, the world watches. This time, it was Ice Spice and Chappell Roan giving the front-row gawkers an unexpected encore—an impromptu peek at their bare backsides, courtesy of a couple of unfortunate wardrobe malfunctions.

It all went down at the Vivienne Westwood show, where these two rising icons linked up and, as fate would have it, suffered eerily similar fashion mishaps. Roan, the electric red-haired powerhouse, took to Instagram to recap her Parisian escapades, slipping in a little something extra: a shot of her ripped red Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress, which had betrayed her by splitting clean open, exposing her assets to the City of Lights.

Not to be outdone, Ice Spice—always one to keep things spicy—revealed that her own dress had “ripped in the same spot.” The Bronx bombshell doubled down on her IG Stories, sharing receipts of the unfortunate tear, her black leather dress clinging to every inch of her curves before giving way at the seams. Ever the trooper, she even gave fans a frontal view, lamenting, “It was cute too.”

Naturally, the internet had opinions. Ice’s devoted Munchkins flooded the comments, some unbothered, some exhilarated. “Guys, relax… it’s just subcutaneous tissue… everybody has it lol,” one philosopher quipped. Another took a different approach: “She’s eating her oats again.” Interpret as you will.

Wardrobe malfunctions aside, Ice Spice was on a Parisian fashion tour de force. She turned heads with a wet-hair look at Off-White’s show and later sat front-row with her “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” partner-in-crime, PinkPantheress, at Vivienne Westwood.

On the music front, Ice has been keeping things relatively quiet in 2025, perhaps plotting her next hit while dodging fabric betrayals. Meanwhile, Chappell Roan is riding high off her Best New Artist win at the Grammys and gearing up to drop her highly anticipated country single, “The Giver,” on March 13.

Fashion faux pas or not, one thing’s for sure—both of these women know how to steal the show, with or without their dresses fully intact.
