Amber Rose is no stranger to Kanye West‘s playbook. The model and former flame of the now-infamous rapper isn’t mincing words when it comes to his latest muse, Bianca Censori. According to Rose, the risqué looks? The barely-there outfits? That’s all Ye. And it’s no accident.
In a no-holds-barred interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, Rose, 41, pulled back the curtain on her past with the artist formerly known as Kanye West. While she acknowledged his good side, she made it clear that his more recent, erratic behavior is fueled by enablers who let him run wild.

The Puppet Master Behind Bianca Censori’s Look
Rose was blunt about Censori’s increasingly provocative wardrobe—or lack thereof.
“Kanye is for sure dressing her like that,” she said. “He did the same thing to me and Kim Kardashian.”
And the motive? It’s not about fashion. It’s about power.
“He wants all his friends to wanna f*ck his girlfriend. He wants everybody—when you walk in a room—that his girlfriend or wife is the most desirable in the room.”
Censori made waves at the 2025 Grammys by dramatically dropping a fur coat to reveal an invisible dress, leaving little more than sheer fabric and well-placed lighting between her and complete nudity. The performance was pure spectacle, but Rose sees it as something more: a pattern.

Kanye’s Dark Side—And Who’s Letting It Loose
Beyond the fashion choices, Rose expressed concern for Ye’s descent into controversy. From Nazi declarations to claims of “dominion” over Censori, his behavior has become more unpredictable, and according to Rose, it’s the company he keeps.
“When he surrounds himself with people that just feed the dark side of him, he’s not living at his full potential,” she said. “He doesn’t have somebody around him that’s maternal in a way that’s gonna sit him down, love on him, and get him to do the right things.”
Though she never met Ye’s late mother, Donda West, Rose believes her absence left a void that no one in his circle is willing to fill.

Rebellion in Baggy Jeans
During her time with West from 2008 to 2010, Rose said she found ways to push back against his controlling tendencies—at least when he wasn’t looking.
“I was young, and I’m going to tell Kanye ‘no?’” she recalled. “Now if you look at old pictures of me when I’m dating Kanye but I was out by myself? I have all his clothes on.”
“I have baggy jeans on, t-shirt, big ass jacket. I raided his closet. When he wasn’t home, I would wear all his stuff because I used to hate dressing like a whore, basically.”
But rebellion had its limits. She recalled a heated argument in Europe over a sheer dress she was reluctant to wear.
“I remember crying and arguing with him and being like, ‘I don’t wanna wear this fucking shit.’”
Ye, ever the self-proclaimed visionary, wasn’t having it.
“‘You don’t understand! This fashion! Ta ta ta! I’m a genius!’” she mocked, rolling her eyes at the memory. “And it’s like, ‘OK, I still don’t wanna wear it.’ But I wound up wearing it. They ate me up on the internet.”
A Different Perspective
Years removed from the relationship, Rose has made it clear she wouldn’t go down that road again. While she remains active on OnlyFans, she draws a line, citing her role as a mother to her two sons.
“Because I have children, there’s certain things that I just will not do because I respect and love my boys.”
The takeaway? Some people evolve. Some don’t. And some just find new women to mold into the image they want the world to see.
